I LOVE this idea!

I recently completed this painting for a friend to give to her mother-in-law for her 65th birthday. I have Kristin M. to thank for this fantastic idea! What a great gift for a grandmother!

The tree looks a little bare because Kristin is going have the grandkids stamp their hands in green paint to create the "leaves" on the tree! Isn't that so sweet? These are now for sale! They can be customized any way you like... with a different verse or even family name. This particular canvas is 20" x 24" and costs $30.

Orders must be placed by Monday, April 25 for Mother's Day.

It feels so good to be back after taking a little time off after Christmas!

Wanted to give you a little update on some things I'm going to be working on around here...

  Making this blog more user-friendly... I'm much more comfortable around a stack of fabric and bucket of paintbrushes than I am around a keyboard and a mouse! But I'm gonna work on it....

  Having more "ready-made" items. I will continue to take custom-orders, but am going to also post items that are ready-to-go. You won't have to mess with designing your order unless you want to!

I have been having so much fun filling your Christmas orders! I did want to give a quick update though... as of right now, I am still accepting orders for Christmas, however, I'll have to "close up shop" beginning December 12. I'm hoping this will give me time to finish up the orders that have been placed AND spend time with my 2 little squirts!

It'll be casual (of course... this is Me we're talking about) and a good chance to see what's available "up close and personal."
